Every weekday morning the courts are jam-packed with people that would rather be someplace else. We are referring to the potential jury members; most of them will be cast aside with little concern for the trouble that they have suffered lost wages etc. They are told it’s their civic duty to participate in this ritual and most will find the experience a total waste of their time. The ones that are not dismissed and become the jury will suffer even more.
We at Lawyersout.com see the necessity for having a jury trial. It is part of our constitution, and feels that it’s fairer then having a single judge make a bench ruling, the more opinions of fact the better. No one should be able to argue that the people that are called to jury duty are giving their time with no gain what so ever, while the lawyers are making lots of money along with the court personnel, in any trail whether they win or lose.
We would like to make changes to the justice system specifically how the trail is conducted; one of the modifications would lessen how the jury is inconvenienced. These changes would also bring down the cost of a jury trial, another benefit. The other changes we purpose would put justice back into the justice system. We feel that these alterations although outside the box will not diminish the pursuit of justice in anyway. Not all of our recommendations will be accepted by everyone, any new idea has its downers... Presenting to you what we call.
